Hospitality
The Hospitality Team coordinates various fellowship events throughout the year, and also work in conjunction with other ministry teams to co-host events.

Blooming Buddies

Divides sanctuary flowers into smaller arrangements and delivers to members of the congregation in need of cheer. People willing to make deliveries are also needed.

College Connection

Maintains contact with members who are currently attending college with cards and/or care packages a few times during the school year. Church members are asked to donate items for the care packages.

Fellowship Events

Coordinates various fellowship events (education related, worship related, or just for fun) throughout the year, such as pot luck dinners, picnics, square dance, bingo, special programs, etc. Works in conjunction with other ministry teams/committees (Christian Education, Worship, Stewardship) to host events such as Epiphany Dinner, Ash Wednesday Pancake Supper, Maundy Thursday Seder Meal, Commitment Sunday, and WSPC Summer dinners.

Food Wheel

Provides meals to church members who are sick or in crisis. Assists in preparing food for funerals and other large events.

Grapevine Interviews

Interviews and writes monthly article on individual members of the congregation for the church newsletter.

Preschool Connection

Serves on preschool committee, coordinates church volunteers for preschool events, and works to build a relationship between our preschool families and our church. 

Prayer Wheel

Provides email and/or phone messages regarding prayer requests and updates.

Receptions/Refreshments

Oversees and coordinates after-worship refreshments during the summer months and coordinates receptions for special occasions, such as Graduate Recognition, Confirmation, and Preschool Sunday, etc.  

Visitor Hospitality

Volunteers deliver welcome packets containing coffee and church information to first time visitors to our church.
